Onkyo showed up to CES 2017 and decided to put 20 carats of diamonds on each earcup of their H900M headphones. The result? A pair of headphones that costs between $80,000 and $100,000 depending on the diamond grade (G to H color, VVS to VS clarity). The earcups are wrapped in handcrafted ostrich leather, and every diamond is GIA-certified.
They are hi-res audio capable, but Onkyo didn't even let journalists test the sound at CES - because at this price point, audio quality is beside the point.
