MetMo has spent years miniaturising old mechanical ideas, and this one comes from a 1912 drive screw: turn a dial, the jaws close, and they stay closed — up to 5kg of clamping force with no fingers on the tool at all, which is the difference between placing a tiny model part and launching it into the carpet. The patent-pending micro-grip tips come in needle, fine and reverse-grip variants with silicone faces, and a quick-release mount turns the whole thing into a miniature desk vice. Aluminium, titanium and surgical stainless versions are on Kickstarter now.
