Darts has always had a scorekeeper problem: someone has to stop playing and do arithmetic. Autodarts X bolts four HD cameras into a ring, clips the ring over any standard bristle board with no drilling, and works out where each dart landed — the makers claim 99.8 per cent accuracy — while 360-degree lighting and an onboard AI referee call the game. Setup takes about three minutes and it folds flat when you are done. Turning a dumb cork board into a self-scoring, stats-logging one with a camera rig is a category that simply did not exist before.
