Air drums have always been a punchline because the latency makes them unplayable — you feel the gap between your hand and the sound. PocketDrum2 MAX closes it to around six milliseconds by tracking the sticks in space and taking the audio out over Bluetooth or USB-MIDI, fast enough to actually play along. Add the foot pedals and you have a kick and hi-hat, which is what turns a pair of waving arms into a drum kit. Eight kits are built in, so it works as a silent practice rig in a flat and as a MIDI controller on a desk.
