The Seestar S30 Pro is a fully automated 30mm apochromatic astrograph with an IMX585 sensor that replaces the whole usual ritual of polar alignment, star hopping and hours of exposure. You pick a target in the app and it slews, plate-solves, tracks and stacks the frames itself. Built-in LP and AI denoise filters plus a dew heater mean it holds up under suburban light pollution, and the same optics work as a daytime spotting scope for birds and wildlife. It runs for hours on internal power and fits in a backpack.
