A wall perch and a 12-foot coiled USB-C cord that turns a smartphone back into a landline: it charges where it hangs, and it stays there. The cord stretches when you need it and snaps back when you don't, which is the whole behavioural trick in one object.
The Perch Bundle includes the aluminium-and-silicone perch, the coiled USB-C cable, a 40W USB-C wall charger and mounting screws. $78, US only. 950 backers funded it on Kickstarter before it went direct.
Who should buy: people who want the phone out of their hand but still within reach. Who shouldn't: anyone who needs their phone in three rooms at once.
