Pocket projectors have always needed a tripod, a wall and a flat surface, which is a lot of conditions for something sold as portable. ZIP Pro folds in a Z so the body becomes its own stand, then fires 1080p out of a 10.7 mm optical engine with ToF auto-focus and auto-keystone that corrects before you notice. A touch display on the unit means it works without a phone, dual Bluetooth handles the audio, and a 38Wh battery is enough for a film. Pre-orders are open at the brand store with shipping expected from late October.
