Every motorcyclist knows the cost of glancing down at a phone or a dash-mounted GPS, and every helmet maker has known it for years without shipping a fix. SHOEI and EyeLights put a nano-OLED screen into the sun visor itself, projecting turn-by-turn navigation, a mini map, speed, speed-limit and radar alerts, caller ID and music roughly three metres ahead of the rider's eye — the company claims up to 32 percent more reaction time. A universal mesh intercom with an ANC microphone is built into the shell, and underneath it is a proper ECE 22/06 touring lid with an AIM shell, EQRS and a Pinlock shield.
